Lifecycle Events.

Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) wrote, “There is a time to be born and a time to die … a time to weep and a time to dance.” (Koh. 3:2,4) At Temple Israel, we rejoice with each other at happy times and support each other in times of sorrow. Our Rabbi officiates at baby namings, bar and bat mitzvah services, weddings, funerals, shivah services, and unveilings. We also celebrate our high school graduates with a special Shabbat service each year. These services are offered at no charge to synagogue members. In some circumstances, schedule permitting, the Rabbi will officiate at life cycle events for non-members. While the rabbi does not accept payment for officiation, a donation to Temple Israel is expected for services to non-members.

If you wish to discuss rabbinical services for a lifecycle event please contact our temple at the link below.
